Yves Bissouma: Aston Villa want a move away from Brighton in January as major clubs pursue Mali midfielder | Football Stories

Yves Bissouma is not rushing to leave Brighton this month with an interest in Aston Villa – and manager Graham Potter is “certain” to stay.

The future of the Mali players will be bright when they return to the UK from the Africa Cup of Nations later this month, and are followed by clubs bigger than Villa in the Premier League and abroad.

Bissouma could wait until the summer to see what could happen, with Manchester United, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all looking for players to make history.

If Villa could match the Brighton price this month, which could be north of £ 40m and £ 50m, then Bissouma would consider playing Steven Gerrard with his club of fame.
