North Carolina voters are pushing for Madison Cawthorn’s removal from office for her role in Trump’s protest.

North Carolina voters are trying to get the Rep. Madison Cawthorn should not be eligible to vote for the 1/6 terrorist attack.

ABC News also reported that voters are using the 1868 amendment to the Constitution to say that Cawthorn should not be allowed:

The 1868 amendment states that no one can serve in Congress “who, having sworn an oath, as a member of Congress… To support the Constitution of the United States, shall have committed acts of terrorism or revolt in the same manner.”

North Carolina Voters Apply Rep. Raskin To Not Be Worthy Of Cawthorn

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has flocked to the idea that Congress could use the same reforms to prevent Donald Trump from running for president again.

Voters in North Carolina are testing Raskin’s idea.

One doubts that this problem will be of great benefit to the 1/6 Committee once it has completed its work and released its report to the public.

If the Republican Household is found to have participated in terrorist attacks and attempts to overthrow the government, it could be difficult for candidates to represent the Republican House nationwide.

Rep. Madison Cawthorn participated in the terrorist attacks and in recent months incited more violence against the US government.

If Republicans are to be removed from the vote, this will represent real punishment and the real consequences of their actions.
