Honor reveals its first twisted phone, Magic V


After laughter her first phone crashed in December, Respect but uncovered Magic V. Honor joins the interests of Huawei, then his old company, and Xiaomi entering a curved market.

Like Samsung’s Z Fold devices, this is a dual smartphone. It has a 6.45-inch display, 431 PPI external display with 2560 x 1080 views, 120Hz refresh rate and 21: 9 resolution. Open, and users can get a 7.9-inch display, 381 PPI, with 2272 x 1984 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 10: 9 resolution.

The company says its water-hinge hinge helps make the show look “nonsense.” Oppo uses a similar hinge method recently announced Get N foldable.

Magic V is 72.7mm wide and 14.3mm thick when folded, and when opened, the dimensions move to 141.1mm wide and 6.7mm thick. Its 160.4mm long case has a 4,750mAh battery that supports 66W charging. Honor says you can charge a battery in 40 minutes or up to 50 percent of its capacity in just 15 minutes.

The phone has a total of five cameras. The rear-facing rear camera has a larger camera, a larger camera and what Honor calls a “good looking camera.” All three are 50MP sensors. There is also a 42MP selfie camera for each photo.

Magic V runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which includes a 5G modem and a built-in Adreno 730 GPU. Magic V has 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, dual-SIM support and stereo speakers. It uses the new Honor’s Magic UI 6.0, which has been installed Android 12. There is also a standalone security device, which stores passwords and biometric data as fingerprints.

The device comes in three colors: black, silver space and burnt orange. At 293g, the silver and black colors weigh a little more than the 288g orange color. Magic V is only available in China for the first time. The 256GB version costs ¥ 9,999 (approximately $ 1,568) while the 512GB version costs ¥ 10,999 (approximately $ 1,725). Magic V will go on sale on January 18th.
